I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Cvent
Interview
I had an initial phone screen with the Internal Recruiter. Then a second phone interview with someone that would have reported to me. I was told that they would setup another phone interview with the hiring manager. It took multiple emails and phone calls to get a response. When they finally returned my email they said that they were working to set up the next interview. The next email I received was that they went in another direction.
I understand that they may not have thought I was a fit. However, it shouldn't take 3 weeks to arrive at that decision. I would also expect that I would have at least had a conversation with the hiring manager. The part of all of this that I found strange was that the person who interviewed me asking for my help on software to help her do her job.

The campus recruiter was pretty nice and I had a face-to-face interview with him. He asked me a lot of common behavioral questions that I should have better prepared earlier.
