I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Cvent (McLean, VA) in Nov 2017
Interview
The interview process at CVENT is totally absurd and ridiculous. They asked me to take an assessment test twice and asked me to attend one phone interviewer with the hiring manager initially. Afterward, I was invited to a face-to-face interview with more than 10 interviewers which lasted nearly 6 hours. Furthermore, I was asked to answer a few questions about the role to re-assess my skills and knowledge. In total, I probably spent more than 12 hours interviewing with CVENT but still did not receive an offer letter. I personally do NOT recommend anyone to apply for future product marketing roles at CVENT since the interview process is ridiculous and pointless.... and not rewarding. Also, the marketing team really has no in-depth experiences in product marketing but mistakenly claims to be experts.
