I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Cvent (McLean, VA) in Dec 2022
Interview
Upon my arrival, I was greeted by a front desk receptionist and seated in a waiting lobby. One thing I found weird is that the other applicants for the position were also put there, creating an awkward tension. I put that aside and had interviews with 3 different managers and one SDR. The interview questions were fairly easy and their personalities were easy going. However, I started to notice the company was problematic when the SDR mentioned he had no previous experience in the role and got the job because of his sister. Upon reading other reviews here, it is clear nepotism is a reoccurring theme within this company. After the interviews, we were given a tour of the work place where the SDRs are stationed at, there was a noticeable lack of diversity. Nearly the entire upper management and SDRs were of a non-ethnic background. The company lacks diversity in its hiring practices and the workforce does not reflect the diverse backgrounds and experiences of the broader community. This creates a homogenous and potentially hostile work environment for minority employees. Additionally, during a tour of the office, the workers appeared unhappy and miserable, suggesting a lack of job satisfaction and a negative company culture. This is a red flag for potential job candidates, as it indicates a lack of support and opportunities for growth within the company. It's clear that this company plays favorites and the backbone of the Sales department is rooted in favoritism and corporate politics. If you enjoy the "frat boy" environment and are okay being paid way below market value, this place may be suited for you. For those that want to avoid nepotism, favoritism, and lack of diversity please steer clear of the Sales department.

Interview
The process was a good interview and I enjoyed my time. More behavioral and situational than questions based on technical skills. So make sure you practice using methods like STAR.
The recruiter was knowledgable and guided me through the process. The culture and vibe of the office seems really great and that employees enjoyed working there. The office environment was really lively - my in person interview was really great. Everyone I talked to was very nice and seemed interested in me and my background, why I was interested in the company, etc..
it was a 2-hour interview. Very long, also had an interview over the phone. It was a good experience however needs a lot of time and energy. good luck with everything.
