One of the best way of recruitment I came so far, very professional and knowledgeable . 5 different levels of interview but worth the time and position . It was great experience to be interviewed in such esteem organisation.

Cvent is an events management company. So, one would expect their HR team to function smoothly in the event of hiring new employees. But that is not what happened. They selected me in a campus recruitment and instructed me and my colleagues to reach their office in Gurgaon in the afternoon for the final selection. Our tests were completed within 90 min and after that were left idle. After 3 hours, I finally inquired when the interview will be held. That is when they told me that our interviewers won't be coming to the office until late in the evening. I don't understand why they weren't upfront about how late the actual interview would take place and just made us sit like that without updating us. They should respect the time of others. As I had to go back home (5 hours away) the same day, I requested them to take my interview a bit early. So after a while, someone came and took it. After that, my contact came and informed me I wasn't selected and advised me to interview after 1 hour for another job profile, as the joining date of the profile they'd just interviewed me for was at a time I would still be attending college, and they didn't realize it. Well, that's not true. Our college had mentioned it to them. Also, when I asked him my weak points he said I didn't clear the second-last round. But then that round had been finished 5 hours ago. Why did they not ask me to leave then? This clearly shows they don't have a standardized procedure for hiring and neither are they sensitive to another person's time.
