Cvent Software Engineering Manager interview questions

I was approached by a recruiter through LinkedIn and and after a 30 min HR session they set up an interview with a VP. It was the weirdest interview I've ever had in my professional career. The guy didn't even go into trouble and introduce himself/department/role or the company. I wasn't expecting an icebreaker or something but his first sentence was "why do you want to leave your current company?" At that point I understand this company wasn't for me as the VP was avoiding any possible human level interaction. I never heard back from them after this interview.
