Had several phone interviews over 4 weeks and finally a 6 person + panel on-site interview. My background is in delivery of very similar products they are attempting to reach; but after all the interview processes were completed, they stated they would most likely get back with me with an offer as a contractor in the next day. Instead, literally the next day , they decided that the scope of the position I had been interviewing had changed and I'm no longer a fit. Reality check, they don't have a clue what they want nor could they even comprehend the technical aspects of what I was presenting during the interview. Maybe, they should actually include people in the interview process that actually understand what they are looking for and how to achieve it. This typically what happens when a company rapidly expands on someone else's $$$ , vs. having tanagable real business to build an employee base off.
