      Apparel Associate/Cashier Interview

      Sep 7, 2015
      Anonymous employee
      Gretna, LA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at DICK'S Sporting Goods (Gretna, LA) in Aug 2015

      Interview

The interview was pretty easy and both of the managers were very laid back. The interview did not feel awkward. I had an interview with one manager, named Nick, then I had to take a test on the computer then I moved on to another manager who asked me some more questions. Then I was turned back over to Nick who offered me a position right away. I accepted the job after the interview, but after the first day I did not go back. Not my cup of tea.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

I was asked mostly situational questions. Q: When is a time you motivated someone? Q: When is a time you used a selling technique and you were able to get the customer to purchase something?
