After 2 phone interviews I was invited in for a demo lesson. As I toured it was clear this was a very structured school environment. I got to reflect on my demo and appreciated the feedback.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What is a piece of feedback you received and how did you adjust in response?
Interviewed by disinterested 'talent team' member. Was asked to give a 'demo lesson' to no students which somehow became the basis of the school's appraisal. Interviewer mostly avoided eye contact and the process felt perfunctory and for show only. They didn't bother to call back when they said they would. Left with a bad impression of 'talent team' and onboarding staff.
