I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at DRW (Montreal, QC) in Aug 2020
Interview
1st Round - Group Interview (25ish candidates) with a simulation test to see how quickly you react to new information
2nd Round - 1 on 1 Interview with the Trading Team
In the end, given the huge candidate pool, it seemed really odd that all the candidates that ultimately filled the 5 open positions were all from Concordia or McGill. It seems like you're systematically at a disadvantage if you're applying outside of Montreal within the DRW Montreal office. This doesn't really seem to be the case for the Chicago or New York office where they give candidates from across the US and Canada a better chance to fill open positions.

Why DRW?
Why Trading?
Tell me about world events you're following.
Relatively normal Trading interview, math focused. They asked quantitative questions. That’s basically it, if you follow regular trading interview manuals it should be along those lines. Hope this helps thanks !

Math brain teaser problem designed to test your computation knowledge
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at DRW in Feb 2023
Interview
I had to do a series of four simulations followed by an in person interview. The entire process was quite fun, and the interviews were on the trading related side of things.

Question 1
How did you handle losses during your personal trading?
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at DRW (Montreal, QC) in May 2022
Interview
The process consisted of a group interview through zoom which included a simulation at the end. Please do yourself a favour and don’t be one of those people who shows up in a t-shirt, in their bedroom, and ask zero questions. Following the group interview there are two online assessments based on current events and reading comprehension and then a final round interview with another simulation.
Everyone throughout the process was very friendly and helpful and it was without a doubt the best interview process I had during my job search.
