It took a while to actually secure the interview. I turned in an application in person, and then had to frequently call to follow up. Once I had the interview, I went to the store and spoke with the manager. A few days later, he called me and asked if I would like the job. They get multiple applications a day, so following up is essential. After all, persistence is a trait you want in a sales associate, right?
