Worst interview experience I've had in a while. Started with a normal phone call, then given an assessment (create a client-ready presentation about machine learning). The company then followed up and scheduled an interview with the team. Turns out, they messed up and scheduled me with the wrong team. Was told that the recruiter would be reaching back out to fix the mix-up and reschedule. So I reached out to the recruiter and the only contact I received was a generic email the next day telling me the position had been filled. No apology for messing everything up and wasting my time. When I called them out on it, they said the position was actually cancelled. Totally chaotic waste of time.
