Interview
The hiring team did a very good job. All the recruiters were really nice. I had a positive experience with them.
Round 1 interview : a video call, you are asked to solve 2 technical questions, the interview starts with a presentation of the company and some questions about your previous projects.
The interviewer did not give me one word of help during the technical part which I think was not so nice, especially for an internship.

Question 1
Coin conversion : given an amount of money (33), and a vector of coins (1,5, 10, 50, for instance) write an algorithm that gives the number of each coins needed to form the amount targeted. The algorithm must work for any array of coins.
It is a rather long one, I am just a fresh grad entering the market so no hard feelings but i didnt even bypass the first round, however those who have, it is one long (but not bad) process.

The most typical one: Why our company and what are my plans etc. It was the first HR one.

Me preguntaron sobre mi experiencia previa en proyectos relevantes, cómo resuelvo problemas en equipo, qué tecnologías domino, por qué estoy interesado en la empresa y cómo manejo situaciones de presión. También hubo preguntas técnicas específicas relacionadas con el puesto.
There was only a single round for software engineering and everyone was super nice and respectful and I would have loved working here. Definitely attend the datadog recruiting events! You’ll get to learn a lot about the company and meet their employees
