I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Dave & Buster's (Oceanside, CA) in Dec 2016
Interview
It started with an online, where you filled out a basic form.
Then after I got an email to make an account and do a fuller more detailed application. Once that went through I got emailed a link to do what was an assessment quiz, basically a personality quiz.
And then after that, since this was for a d&b that hadn't opened yet and they were scheduling interviews at a hotel, i got sent a link to schedule what day and time i wanted to come interview.
I did the initial online application on December 13th and the earliest I could schedule an interview was december 26th but i scheduled it for the 217th (they were scheduling for up Jan 14th, opening Jan 30th)
On the day of the in person interview, I arrived a little early and waited cause they were on their lunch break.
It was like "Speed Dating" There were three of us interviewed at same time, well three interviewers rotated, spending seven minutes with us each. Sometimes they asked the same questions, and threw in random on the spot ones like favorite color and where would i travel, what would i do if i had one last day along in with the normal going over my work history and why i want this job and such. The interviews were also messing with each other the whole time, throwing pens and balls at each other. One of the other interviewees even sang karoke between rounds.
