Call with the CFO After all assignment, I got an immediate call from the recruiter saying that they were impressed with the way I went about the work, and since I had another offer on the table, they promised me to send me an offer in 2 days. However, during my call with the CFO, I asked her about the perks and benefits, and she told me that depending on my performance I will be qualified for perks. After that, I lost interest in it as this make me feel like my worth would be determined depending on how I onboard. After a week of silence, they told me they cannot hit the salary range I'm looking for. I was up front about it from the beginning and this just left a very bad taste.
