I was contacted via phone by the recruitment team and asked to set up a time for an interview with the hiring manager. Two days later, I spoke to the Hiring Manager. It was not much of an interview as it was just myself talking with no follow up questions or information about the position. He simply asked me to tell me about myself and salary expectations. After hearing the salary amount, he was quick to end the call. I was told someone would reach out to follow up but no one has called since. I thought this was unprofessional regardless of whether the salary range worked for them or not. The hiring manager didn't offer insight to the job description or any kind of response and was off putting.
