I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Del Taco (Hesperia, CA) in Mar 2015
Interview
Conducted two interviews on the spot. One interview went over job attire, shoe necessities, and belts. They provide the shirt, apron, and hat, you need black pants, black shoes, black socks, black belt. Second interview went fairly well. I got a call a week later of an offer to a position. They will cross train you for each position. 21 days per position.
Interview was easy and the staff seemed eager to assist. Not a difficult position but was nice to work with team on improving workflow. Questions weren’t difficult. Say that you want the job and you may get it.
Very brief and short it was through a reference but mostly focused on how I handle stress and customer interactions: quick thinking . There was also a lot of focus on how available I would be on short notice
Basic interview process, basic questions. They do it at one of the tables in the store so it is casual. Managers are nice. Very basic process. Was hired on the spot.
