I applied online. I interviewed at Dell Technologies (North York, ON) in Jun 2017
Interview
Got the first phone interview from their head office HR in the states, was told Toronto office recruiter will contact me to schedule the interview. And then... a week has passed, nothing happened. I had to follow up and then finally got the phone call from them. Scheduled the interview on June 1st- the interview went well, had a great talk with HR and a manager in their Talent Acquisition team. They said they would suggest me for 2nd round interview- but so far I heard nothing from them. I followed up by email/linkedin, but no reply at all... very upset, at least they can give me an email and let me know if they have made the decision or not...
Not bad, long. Took a month or so to go thru the process. Video interviews and mock sales call. Could be worse but be prepared. Friendly interviewers which was nice!
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Dell Technologies (Toronto, ON)
Interview
The hiring process included an initial phone interview to discuss my background and experience, followed by a virtual interview that explored my skills in more depth and assessed overall role fit.
the interview consisted of a recruiter call, two behavioral interviews and a role play. straight forward sales interview, nothing out of the ordinary of difficult. they don’t ask tech specific questions, just want to see that you can sell
