I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Deloitte in Oct 2010
Interview
Applied through career center at my university. I had one 30-min interview with a gentleman. He was very nice and casual. Standards questions. The second interview was at their site, and it consisted of two 30-min interviews back to back. My interviewers were two ladies. The first was very enthusiastic and asked standards questions as well - work experience, behavioral questions, etc. The interview with the second woman was quite odd because she did not ask any questions. It was more conversational, as I inquired about herself and her line of work.

It was an on campus placement interview, they mostly asked about my CV and personal achievements. Some questions were regarding basics of accounting like principles of accounting and treatment of depreciation and other items in all 3 statements.

5 rounds of interview - 1 HR, 2 technical, 1 Versant (english understanding and communication) & 1 Partner. Partner round can be technical or general depending upon your partner. Questions can range from "why audit" to core accounting and auditing questions
the interview was very conversational. entry level position is not technical at all but you should bring in experience anyways. didn’t get the position but interviewers seemed very laid back and were probably taking the interview from their phone
