I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines (Detroit, MI) in Apr 2016
Interview
The first step of the interview process was a digital video interview, where you had 30 seconds to read the question on the computer, and then you had two minutes to answer the question the best of your ability. It was only four questions long, and I felt that they were not too difficult, mostly about customer service questions and what you did in particular situations. Three days later I received an email inviting me for an in-person interview. Sadly, however, I didn't get the opportunity to interview. When I received the email from them inviting me for an in-person interview, it said I had 24 hours to respond with my interview time slot preferences. I emailed them back 4 hours after receiving the email because I was working when I got it, I told them of my top two time slot preferences, and then I received an email back from them 2 days later saying unfortunately all of the time slots had been filled, and they'd contact me IF/when new interview time slots became available...This is the part that I don't agree with, that you have to fight for a spot to interview, and if you don't respond to the email fast enough then you miss out on your opportunity. I think that if they invite you for an in-person interview, and you respond to their email within the 24 hour window that they give you, then you should be able to interview!

The interview process was brief and informal, focusing mainly on my personality and overall fit for the team. The conversation covered my background, interest in the role, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
