      Ramp/Baggage Agent Seasonal Interview

      Application

The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines in Mar 2016

      Interview

Started where three friends and I apllied online for the position at JFK. In A week we recieved an email for an online interview through hirevue? I think. It consisted of prerecorded questions in STAR format (situation, task, approach, result) and you are timed. After completion and submission about a week later I recieved an email to set up a scheduled face to face (f2f) interview. The interview was easy we were first places in a room with other applicants and we greeted and introduced to the recruiters some managment and HR personnel. The actual interview went well abot 10 mins with another set of STAR questions then I was offered a contingent job offer (CJO). Directly after the interview i was led into a room to fill out paper work for port authority ID, background check, criminal history, residence history, and work history as well as schedule fingerprint, drug test (48 hr time limit) and lastly agility test. Now our of the three of us who were interviewed two of us were offered a position. He and I went through the same process. About aweek later I recieved an email from Delta rep to forward a copy of the drug test requisite. About a week and a half later I recieve another email for to forward my w2's for the 2 previous calendar years. My friend had not recieved neither. A week later the Delta rep called with a Georgia area code to see if i emailed the requested docs, after finding it in the spam folder she advised me that training would begin on the following monday. As for my friend his application status states "under review". There will probably be multiple training sessions so hopefully he will be in a later session but so far I have begun training and he is currently waiting. BTW my application status was listed as "position offered" Good luck to all candidates.
