I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines (Atlanta, GA) in Feb 2016
Interview
Applied initially online. About ten days later I was contacted for a one-sided video interview. I did not feel very confident during the video interview and it took a long time to hear back after this interview- over a month, if I remember correctly- so I assumed that I was no longer in the running! Then one evening I received an email to attend a face to face interview session in Atlanta. I chose a 12:30 time slot. Interview day was intense, but ultimately resulted in a conditional job offer, which I accepted. After that I had to wait several months to pass screening and for the training to begin.
My advice for interviewing: Remember that safety is the number one duty of the job. It's not all about traveling and meeting new people, though naturally that's a wonderful perk! Highlight any medical or self-defense training you've had. Demonstrate that you know how to function well in a team. General customer service experience is also great! Read up on the STAR format. Lastly, try to find that tricky balance between demonstrating that you know how to package yourself as a brand representative (being very well-groomed, not speaking out of turn and having a great smile) and still showing something of your authentic self that will make you stand out as an individual!
Best of luck! :)
I am currently in the interview process for the FA position and have reached the ODV part of it. Most of the questions are expierenced based, so I would recommend just thinking of the times you have exceeded the customer service baseline before hand.

Name a time you had to deal with an upset customer?
It’s challenging, but rewarding, remember to answer in star format, and just enjoy the process, think about your why and smile! No matter if you have received a TBNT- don’t let that stop you from your dream…Keep climbing!
