7 questions, 5 of which were situational, the other two about the dress code and piercing/tattoo policy. You have 30 seconds to prepare you answer, 2 minutes to answer. Use STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Response) method!! Wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be. I was extremely nervous but after taking practice test felt 100% more comfortable.
Have not heard anything as of yet (4:20pm 12/29)

Nervous about visible tattoo policy; definitely could've just lost my chance because of a small tattoo on my wrist. Does anyone know if they allow you to cover them with makeup or if there is any sort of leniency? It says 'hakuna matata'. Kicking 18-year-old me in the butt right now. 😔

You're gathering supplies you need before takeoff and you notice two passengers in a heated discussion. They are not raising their voices, but the arguement is escalating. Not getting these supplies would delay the flight. What would you do?

There are two assessments before the first self-recorded video interview. The first is the values assessment. The second is the virtual job tryout where they ask situational questions and you have to answer which is the most likely response and least likely response.

not much opportunity to sell yourself for the position....too many flight attendants join the activities for the day....enjoyed meeting all the applicants that were invited to Delta for the day!

Interview
Applied in early September 2024. Was moved to the test assessment/ video interview in late October 2024. Found out early December 2024 that I got the in person interview and it is scheduled for early January 2025!!! It has taken a lot of patience but has given me ample time to get ready and feel prepared.
The test assessment was fairly simple, took maybe 30 minutes. They do test your listening and memorization so pay close attention to directions.
Video interview was 5 questions where I had 6 attempts to answer each question in 3 minutes or less.
I've been watching a ton of flight attendant vlogs and I've done 3 mock interviews to get ready for my in person event day. Wish me luck!
My advice to anyone applying for ANY flight attendant position:
1. safety is the most important thing! Try tying everything back to safety
2. Avoid the standard "I love people. I love travel" answers. Dig deeper!!
3. Learn more about the company. There are so many airlines out there. You might align with one company's mission and values but not another.
