I applied September 27, 2019. I received an email to do a video interview on October 2nd and I completed the video interview on October 6th. Then received an email to do the Talent Plus assessment on October 16th. On October 30th I was invited to do a live online interview (this is with an actual flight attendant kind of like a Skype interview) and I completed the interview on November 2nd. I was SO nervous for this part. I couldn't even get some of my thoughts out for the first 2-3 minutes of the interview. The flight attendant interviewing me was so sweet and just told me to take a deep breath and try again. I ended up doing well the rest of the interview, but I definitely thought I wouldn't get a face-to-face. I mean the beginning of the interview was THAT bad. On November 6th I got an email inviting me to the f2f interview and I couldn't believe it. I scheduled my interview for November 12th at 7:30am. There were literally 7-10 of us left in the room after the interview was over and my name was the last one called to leave so I am assuming the rest of the people in there got a CJO on the spot. All of the video interviews questions, including the live interview, are on glassdoor. Seriously this is where I got all of my information from. Study all of the questions on here because at some point you will be asked the question. Everything is in STAR format - situation, task, action, and result. STUDY IT! At the f2f interview I wasn't asked anything in STAR format. Honestly I kind of blacked out at the f2f because I was so nervous. Be prepared to answer why you want to be a flight attendant and if there is anything else that Delta should know about you. Be genuine, smile until your cheeks hurt, and be personable with everyone you talk to. They watch your every move. It almost felt like sorority recruitment walking around shaking everyones hand, smiling, and making small talk. Have some questions in mind that you can ask flight attendants. The application process can be long for some people. Mine moved kind of quickly, but be prepared to wait up to 6 months. If you don't get a CJO that day then you will more than likely not be offered the job after the interview. That's not always the case, but most of the time. There are two assessments before the first self-recorded video interview. The first is the values assessment. The second is the virtual job tryout where they ask situational questions and you have to answer which is the most likely response and least likely response.
