Delta Air Lines interview questions

Put in application: Jan 19, 2017 (completed assessment the same day) Received email about video interview: Jan 26, 2017 Received video invitation: Feb 6, 2017 Completed video interview: Feb 8,2017 What to expect from the video interview: I did the interview process over a computer. There were nine questions in total. 6 were scenario questions and "describe a time" type questions. The other 3 questions were yes or no questions. Each question was a video and it was written out so you could read along. You could play the video when ready. This was actually great because I was really nervous, so if I need to breath and take 10 mins before starting the question I could do that. You don't get to see the question until you press play. After you press play on the video the flight attendant on the video asks you the question and you get to read along. You can not pause the video, rewind, or fast-forward. After the video you have 30 secs to prepare your answer. There is a timer. If you want to move ahead before the 30 secs you may do so by clicking a button that says "answer question" I think... I forgot, but its next to the timer. Before your recording starts there is a 3 sec countdown, then it begins. you have 3 mins to answer the question. Once you finish with your answer you can click "done". Then it moves to another paused video waiting for you to click play. Please take your time and breathe. You have 3 days to complete the video interview. what helped me was Glassdoor.com. I studied the questions that everyone submitted, and i actually did see the questions that were on Glassdoor.com. While I was doing my video interview, when I took "my break", I would prepare myself with the question before hand by using Glassdoor.com. I noticed that I had the same questions as someone else in the same order that they gave. (Thank God) I sat there a moment and thought about what I was going to say. This gave me enough time to think about what to say and how I'm going to deliver it, without feeling pressured and uneasy. My advice: My advice to any who has received an email letting them know that they will receive an invitation to take the video interview or to someone that has received the invitation already is to STUDY! That's my number one advice! I recommend this website. It helped a lot! If you haven't recieved the invitation yet, and you still waiting, take that time to study interview questions. Don't be like me and wait till you receive the email to study, because then you gonna feel rushed, pressured and you probably gonna panic and be less confident. My second advice is to practice with someone. Have a friend or family member go over these questions with you. (I recommend doing it over a video chat so you can get a better feel of whats like.) Make sure you keep your eye on the camera and smile. In my opinion it's better to practice with some than your self because your friend/family member can give you criticisms that help you or give you suggestions that you may have not noticed. It will also help if they throw questions at you rather you go over it yourself. If you do decide to do it by your self I suggest recording yourself. Delta does have a practice interview questions so no worries. Do not study the practice interview questions because you will not see them. It's just practice and there to give you a better understanding of how it works and feels. Last advice is to be confident, smile and look at the camera. Smile and sound confident, even if you do mess up. I said um and stuttered a few times, but I made sure I focused on the camera, smile, look lively and sounded confident. I know it may be nerve-wreaking but if you mess and pick back up, sound confident, own it, and smile it matter! If you read and follow my advice I gave you should do great! :) I believe in you and I know someone else believes in you too! Don't stress its not that bad! Breathe! You can move on to the next question when ready so don't feel rushed. Most importantly Study! This is the key! I will post again when I receive my email for my face-to face interview. Make sure you study for that as well. P.S. Dress-up and Where your natural looking hair color during the video and face-to-face interview. That matters!
