While I wanted to like this company, and had high hopes regarding the opportunity based on employee reviews, I was disappointed. The recruiter seemed really nice, personable, but I soon discovered it was all a façade. After receiving positive feedback from her, and the hiring manager, I was ghosted. It’s amazing to me that so many recruiters have no moral compass. The recruiter proved my first impression wrong. I guess I should take this as a sign that I dodged a bullet. If HR is treating well regarded candidates this way, then how does the company treat their employees. What is it going to take for recruiters to realize they are the face of the company, and they leave a lasting impression on the people they meet. It’s amazing to me how self centered and short sided most recruiters are. I see their posts on LinkedIn “asking for patience and understanding”. I’ll do that the minute I have one positive, respectful experience.
