I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Deutsche Bank (Tokyo) in Jan 2009
Interview
First I had lunch with the recommending employee & regional boss, then I had lunch with the local boss. After my lunch with the local boss, I had an interview with HR which was supposed to be just technical issues, but for some reason this HR rep felt they were "interviewing me" and did not give me a good impression. After I "passed" the HR rep I revived my offer. I was not sure about the position so I did take some time to answer, and one of the times the local boss called to check regarding my response to the offer, the person was quite rude to me which didn't now make me want to work with this person.
