Straightforward. Based mainly on skill level. I’m more of a consultant and the other roles were more functional. For this particular role, rate was the issue. That should be clear by now. Employers need to pay for quality and stop trying to scrape the bottom of the barrel. And then we wonder why the tech industry is such a mess right now.
