I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Dickson (Chicago, IL) in Apr 2016
Interview
Initial phone interview. I hope the person interviewing was a stand in and not HR. She sounded half dead on the phone and I sensed within 2 minutes she wasn't interested in speaking with me. I was literally reading the bullet points from the job description from their website and asking questions based on that information but she sounded confused every time I brought one up and told me I wouldn't be doing any of that in an annoyed tone! I was like, wow, ready just to say "thanks not interested anymore". I realize the position was for sales but I figured my technical background would be a huge asset and not liability which is what I got
from the interview. After all Dickson is a company that sells SaaS and electronic components, lol! Then she asks me why I want to get into sales. Really? You didn't see the ten plus years of sales and owning a company on my resume'??
