I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Digital Realty (Chandler, AZ) in Mar 2013
Interview
The first step was a phone interview with the recruiter. Then i did a phone review with the remote hands manager. The last interview was in person. All in all i think that this is a standard procedure to hire someone without any data center experience.
Two interviews minimum, one occurs over teams and the second in person so they can get to know you more and so they can know what you goals are in your career. They will then select the best candidate for the position
