Interview
I applied directly on the DO website and heard back a few days later. The recruiter scheduled a 30 min phone interview. When she called, I got the strong sense she was rushed or this was not an interview she was prepared for. She asked one question before asking if I had any questions, her tone made the interview feel completed, when we had only spoken for barely 2 minutes. I then had to ask her if SHE had more questions because we sat in silence and felt very uncomfortable. I was disappointed in the phone screen since I've myself have performed screens and was ready for a great conversation since DO has a wonderful reputation.
Very unprofessional. Was late to the initial interview then emailed me 5 minutes into the call to reschedule for the next day, Never showed up for the new interview.
Very disrespectful and has no professional courtest.

1 recruiter screen. 1 hiring manager screen. 4 interview loops. The process was clear and explained well. The interviews were kind, safe, and welcoming. I really enjoyed the interview process.

It was less about standard interview questions and more about making a connection. They did always ask how I was feeling. But most other questions related to learning more about some part of my experience.

The overall interview process was fantastic. The recruiter was super prompt with interview follow-ups and feedback. Liked the transparency on the job requirements and duties all along the process. They were prompt to schedule follow-up meetings with the hiring manager as well.
