Interview
Pretty standard interview process, meet with people of varying level and all ask you the same types of questions to determine; what type of person you are, do you fit the culture, and do you have the intellectual curiosity to do well.

Do you ever click on search ads or online ads? Why or why not?
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Digitas (Boston, MA) in Apr 2015
Interview
Applied online and got through first round interviews where they gave you a link to a webcam recording interview where they flash you a question, have 1 minute to prepare your answer, and up to a minute to record your answer (the timer starts automatically!). In total there were about 3-4 questions you had to answer. Got an email saying that I've been asked for an in-person interview at their offices in Boston. Interview process involved 30 minute interviews with 3 people in the S&A department, back to back to back. Friendly people for the most part. I was was anticipating a case study question since this is an S&A internship, but I only got behaviorals (tell me about yourself, why advertising?) and questions about trends that you see happening in the future. However, it seems like they mostly looking for rising seniors/graduates to hire because going into the interview they automatically assumed I was a junior until I told them I was only a sophomore.
