I got a call from HR right away. Had a phone interview first. It was very professional. I was then told I would get another phone interview. Few days later that call also went well. I was then scheduled to go in for an all day interview with 5 managers. When I went in I met with 4. The 5th person was a no show. That was the first sign that the institution was unprofessional. I had no word for a week. I sent an email follow up. The next day one of the managers I met with called me for another interview and a cup of coffee. I agreed. Met with her and thought it went fine. She discussed more personal matters. (I paid for the coffee) so many signs already, I know. Last words out of her mouth were that the management needed to be more professional. True story. Anyway, I followed up because I had another offer and they said they hadn't made a decision. Which basically means they were going to pass. They did me a favor, really.
