Interview
I arrived about an half hour too early since I don't drive for a variety of reason. As seen applied above I applied for the Full time Sales Associates. in which in return, didn't state needing a license as a requirement in the job description until recently. Furthermore, I tried explaining this to the manager and he seem that he didn't want to listen to the fact that there was no requirement on the job description. Please the manager kept adding more and more responsibilities compared to what was listed. Although, it was a conversation, he kept repeating himself in a manner kept asking to go back to a certain point. I felt like the manager wasn't really listening during whole interview process. A lot of the questions were about my background.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1. What is your experience with loss prevention?
2. Can you give accounts about past customer service good or bad?
3. What is experience on a team?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Dollar General (Atlantic, IA) in Oct 2015
Interview
The interview took place in the break room not the office. Red flag. If you cannot say it on camera, you should not be saying it or asking it. The manager asked personal questions that were illegal for her to ask. Are you married? Do you have kids? Etc These are all questions you are not legally allowed to ask during an interview.
