Simple.
Filled out a paper application at the time, which is now online.
Answered some fairly easy questions which included some questions like. What would you do if you caught a fellow employee smoking in the bathroom ?
Then waited on a background check to come back as o.k.
Took a drug test at a local doctors office.
- Yes. You are subject to random drug testing. Especially if you have an accident at work which requires medical attention and or, Workmans Compensation.
Then filled out some forms in store on the store computer and then started the next week.

I personally didn't have any interview questions because they needed someone quick but my boss likes people who have had previous retail experience. Especially with big retailers or opponents of, Dollar General.
Short and simple, wanted to know my skills and interests. Asked me about my availability. Didn't take too long, probably the easiest interview I've had. Easy even for those without work experience.
