I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Dollar Tree (Schenectady, NY) in Jul 2016
Interview
It was very easy! District Manager was very easy to talk to and very personable. He asked some basic questions but also probed off of them so I was impressed with this technique as I use it myself when doing interviews.

Question 1
How I handled certain situations where I either had to improvise and change plans or how I could maximize and boost sales
The interview process was minimal and largely informal. The initial conversation with the regional leadership consisted of a brief phone call, and there was limited direct interaction with district management prior to starting. In fact, I did not meet the district manager until after onboarding and training, and did not meet the regional director in person until several months into the role. Overall, the hiring process felt more like a fast placement based on experience rather than a structured multi-step interview process.
You apply, talk to HR and District ,Lastly you will speak to the regional briefly. If experience whole process goes pretty fast. This position is very fast pace, its no down time.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Dollar Tree (Augusta, GA)
Interview
In depth questions regarding your experience are asked by the interviewer who is usually a District Manager. Good job description given when interviewed. May have more than one interview during the process.
