The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Domino's (Phoenix, AZ) in May 2009
Interview
I already had experience as a GM for a franchise owner, however the process with Corporate Domino's was different. I interviewed 1/1 with an Area Manager, and was then selected for an interview for GM when a store became available. They asked for a 30/60/90 day plan for areas such as marketing, service, image, training, staffing, etc. We also discussed situations that were specific to the location in question, and I was asked to provide specific examples of situations I had faced in the past with customer service issues, employee relations, and operations issues.

Question 1
What are your plans to turn around the sales in this location?
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Domino's (Cleveland, OH) in Oct 2025
Interview
The person interviewing told me they don’t hire management off the streets even though the job posting says GM with income of six figures. She said I would have to start out making pizza, answering phones in the store for minimum wage and see where it goes. She stated corporate puts out the job postings but not sure why it states how it does. Major misleading for the posted job ad. She was very rude and ended up hanging up on me.
Hour long interview, went well. Interviewer was personable, and easy to talk to. He told me that 92% of GM’s at dominos started as a driver or customer service associate.

Question 1
When is a time you were not happy with your manager? How did you react?
Application, then to phone interviews with a hiring Director that had been with the company for over 25 years. Very thorough and professional process that seemed very effective. The person that interviewed me was very nice and asked questions that made me feel like I would be valued as an employee for the company.
