Applied through the website with an internal referral. A recruiter reached out the next day to schedule a screening call with them. The screening call was about 30 minutes, however the recruiter was late 10 minutes. They described the role, asked about my background and for a couple examples of the projects I have worked on. Left room at the end for my questions. The overall energy of the conversation was scattered and felt like I was wasting their time and the call was a favor since I was a referral. Also they gave answers to my questions about the role and company that I felt were inappropriate. Next, I met with the hiring manager, which was a 45 minute video interview. They said I would hear back by the end of the week on next steps. After the week went by, I sent a follow up note to the recruiter that was left unanswered. I send another the following week which they answered with apologies and they'll follow up soon. Never got the follow up email back so essentially got ghosted after that.
