I applied online and received an email 2 months later. Quickly scheduled a phone screen and was moved to the next step. That was a 45 minute interview with the hiring manager. After that, a 45 minute interview with the director. I was moved onto the next stage which included 4 45 minute interviews with different team members. They each gave me a pretend situation then asked questions about it. The interviews in themselves were fine and I did enjoy meeting the team to learn more about their time at DoorDash. I could see myself as a good fit for the team. What I didn’t like was how time intensive the process was. 7 appointments including the phone screen is overkill. I didn’t get offered the position which was disappointing in itself. Then, I received zero feedback which was also disappointing considering all of the time and effort given on my end. If they had given feedback, my overall experience rating would be better. Additionally, I wish they would’ve cut the experience shorter if they knew they weren’t interested so my time could be respected.
