I applied online. I interviewed at DoorDash in Jan 2022
Interview
The recruiter reached out on Wednesday for an interview on Friday. I responded right away and quickly prepared. I did hours of research on the company and their values, as well as preparing for interview questions and questions I may want to ask her. Friday came around and 15 minutes beforehand, I got an email saying the recruiter canceled the interview. I then got a follow-up email saying "unfortunately the team is looking to move in another direction and we will be needing someone with 6+yrs of professional experience.." This was so incredibly rude and unprofessional. It sounds like DoorDash is doing a lot of hiring and building out their talent experience. I suggest hiring a more professional TA team while you're at it. I will not be applying to any DoorDash jobs in the future and will be discouraging my counterparts to do the same.
