      Administrative Interview

      Feb 7, 2020
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at DraftKings

      Interview

Hands down the most organized interview I've had. A recruiter reached out out to me the day after I applied on LinkedIn. There was a screen call then followed up with a 2 hour onsite interview (met with four people). They asked standard industry questions and followed up with a few open ended ones. The vibe was casual and everyone on the loop was welcoming. The team reached out to me a few days later and sent an offer. Everyone involved in the hiring process was efficient and attentive.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at DraftKings in Apr 2021

      Interview

I interviewed w DK for 2.5 months, had over 7 interviews and received great feedback after each interview. Only for them to hire someone 15 yrs younger than me with absolutely zero experience - not even close to the experience and skills that I have. Why so many interviews? Then they called me on a Friday afternoon to let me know that they decided to go with someone else after making me wait over 2 weeks for a decision to be made. Complete waste of 2.5 months. Stop putting candidates through such a rigorous interview process, be honest with candidates. Don’t ask for 10 years experience if you’re looking for an entry level. Be considerate and respectful of a candidates time. 2.5 months is ridiculous amount of time to take for an admin position.
