I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at DraftKings in Nov 2022
Interview
It's very disappointing how unprofessional the recruiters are at DraftKings. I finished my Technical Phone Interview (same question as everyone else) in early November. The question wasn't difficult and the interviewer gave me positive feedback throughout. I discussed my approach as we went through the business rules and laid out the pros and cons of specific data structures over others. I thoroughly enjoyed this interview with my interviewer. He told me that I would hear back from DK about the next steps in a day or two. Three weeks and 3 follow-up emails later, I've yet to hear anything from my recruiter. It's very disappointing that recruiters are this unprofessional in times like these. I understand that the market is in a bad place right now and many companies don't have any headcount left, but at least have the decency to reject applicants who've devoted hours to the application process instead of leaving them hanging. Straight-up ghosting competent applicants is not a good look. Be better.

Question 1
same as everyone else for the technical phone interview
The phone screening question was standard and went over my resume, along with talking about the role. Asked about test driven development a lot. They do a technical question, then a system design question, followed by a meeting with the team manager it sounds like.
I had my first HR interview with DraftKings. It was mainly about getting to know the company, understanding the general role, talking about my past experience, and answering few easy initial technical questions.

I applied online. I interviewed at DraftKings (Boston, MA) in Mar 2026
Interview
The interview process was fairly straightforward - after the screening and technical interview they put you in a 3 hour final round with three separate interviews back-to-back, the last one being a chat with the team lead. The recruiter was nice and helpful throughout the process.
