One word that describes Dragos is unprofessional. The hiring manager started off the interview by saying how much he doesn't like doing interviews on Fridays ( even though he gave Friday as an availability) interview went downhill from there. Hiring manager did not ask me any questions regarding my background or technical experience, it was only after I asked him if he had any questions for me that he asked some generic questions. He described their culture as " a bunch of white dudes" and that he was posting his job on twitter to try to attract a more diverse pool of candidates. RED FLAG... I didn't ask about the culture and he made it seems like the only reason they are talking to me is because I check off the "diverse candidate" box. Dragos has been in business since 2016 why are they just focusing on diversifying their candidate pool now?? Two days after that horrible interview I got a rejection email from the technical recruiter. I responded back saying how unprofessional the hiring manager was and that I would like the opportunity to discuss my experience with him. Was supposed to have a call with the technical recruiter and he ghosted me....which just speaks to how unprofessional this company is on many levels.
