I first had an in person interview with representatives at a professional conference. I was then called for a 1/2 hour interview over the phone. Following that, I had a job site interview that lasted an entire day, where I presented my research in a formal presentation, met with the selection committee, dean, and assistant dean, and met with a wide number of faculty members. After the daylong interviews and presentation, I was taken out to dinner and then dropped off at my hotel.

I was interviewed at ASSA in January for the initial interview. Then I was invited to campus for additional interviews and paper presentation. Overall, the entire interview process was pleasant even though the campus interview was exhausting.
