I applied online and heard back within a day or so. Then had an initial “chat” with the director of talent set up a week later. The chat was seemed to be more informal but on the actual call that quickly changed. At first it was probing about sourcing and my role in that, which I said I wasn’t a part of and she didn’t seem satisfied. Then it seemed to turn into a probing mission about what the company, as a competitor, did to attract talent and how specifically we were going about that. After clear dissatisfaction she briefly described the role and didn’t offer any follow up questions and ended the call ten minutes early. There were numerous discrepancies in the role description which I had hoped to clear up and wasn’t able to. Three weeks later I got the rejection after I emailed her.
