Interview
Comparable to a FAANG interview process. First call with a recruiter, then hiring manager, then take-home assignment, then virtual onsite. 6 rounds covering Product Case, Product Design, Product Strategy (including estimation), Execution, Analytics, and Behavioral.

Question 1
[Product Case] Name 3 of your least favorite apps and pick one to improve. Draw a wireframe of the improvement.
[Product Analytics] How would you improve this feature? Create a hypothesis for feature improvement, choose one with the highest ROI, and how would you A/B test it? What changes would you make in experimentation?
[Strategy] Imagine you are a PM launching a new app; how would you monetize it, pick the approach with the highest ROI, and estimate revenue for 1 year? How would you mitigate churn and include that into your calculation.

Interview
There are two interviews in the first round: Product Case Interview and Funnel Analytics Interview. In the second round, I had a Strategy Interview and a Design Interview. They were about 45 minutes each.

Interview
Phone Screen with Recruiter, followed by first round which was a take home presentation. Prepare and present in a 30 minute interview to 3 panelists. There are 2 options of the prompt for experienced hires. The responses from the recruiter are extremely delayed. Have not experienced this in 2022 from any company for product roles. The prompt seems to be an easy way to get ideas for the duolingo product, instead of testing for competency. The process does not leave a pleasant impression of the company.
