The recruiter from Texas set some times and days for which to have a phone interview. I replied with my selection, then later said she's busy, can we reschedule to the 26th. Fine. Come the day of the 26th, she calls 30 mins early and leaves a message saying, If you're still interested, then call me back. Seems to me she's implying that I'm not interested in the role anymore? Also, calling her back would mean I incur long distance charges. I replied with an e-mail mentioning the interview time we agreed upon. She called back at the agreed upon time and asked me if I worked at Habitat for Humanity, I said no... turns out she had the wrong resume in front of her... then she lets me know the position is contract. I asked if it said contract on the job description, she said no. I was under the assumption that it was full-time, but no, it's contract. She said Dyson doesn't want to waste people's time with misunderstandings and assumptions that contract positions can go permanent. That's fine, but they surely wasted my time by not putting in the job description that the position is contract. So in short, she re-rescheduled the interview, called 1/2hr early, had the wrong resume in front of her, then said the position is contract when the job description had no mention of it being contract. I've elected not to continue in the interview process.
