I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at EMSL Analytical (New York, NY) in Jul 2015
Interview
They put me through 3 separate interviews and wasted my time by first doing a lengthy phone interview, followed by filling out their 13 page application and faxing it to HR, and mailing the application to headquarters. They called me back several times to clarify information. Then I interviewed in person at the lab with a hiring manager after which he said the manager for the department I am interviewing for will conduct a phone interview with me at a later time. During the 3rd phone interview, the manager of that department asked me the same questions the first two interviews asked and then at the end, after asking my availability bluntly stated that if I'm unwilling to work the overnight shift, I'm not what they're looking for. They wasted so much of my time. If all they cared about was getting a person for that certain shift, then that should have been one of the first questions asked instead of the last. HR took a month to tell me I wasn't offered a position. Huge waste of time.

Interview
Seemed like they were rushed to find people and didn’t really take into account your schedule. They wanted me to come into the building for a tour within a week, despite not getting a interview for a few months.
