EPAM Systems Senior Designer interview questions

I was contacted by a recruiter from LinkedIn several times. Scheduled a phone call that was informative. Then no further interviews were scheduled because the hiring manager didn't feel my experience lined up with the role. That didn't bother me at all, what I found very strange was the persistence of the recruiters when they hadn't bothered to understand what the hiring manager was looking for or running candidate profiles passed them. Seems like a poor use of time.
