I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at EY
Interview
The interview process was long. You go through 4 interviews. You get an interview with HR. After this interview, you are asked to do a test called the online Saville Consulting Swift Analysis Aptitude Assessment. The test measured your general analytical skills through math, graphs and english comprehension. After you pass the test, you get an interview with the direct managers you would be working with. This is the most technical interview out of all the interviews. Then you get an interview with the regional manager and lastly one with the partner/s.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
HR asks very basic questions like Tell us about yourself. Why EY? Why Consulting? Why did you study your major in college?
With the Managers, it was more technical questions regarding past internships, detailed questions about the projects you worked on etc.
The interviews were pretty standard and not too formal. Quite relaxed. I did 3 or 4 interviews, and a few calls with the recruiter to set it all up. They were easy to reach compared to other companies.
The interview process began with a brief introduction where I shared my background, education, and career goals. This was followed by a discussion about my resume and previous projects. Next, I answered a few technical and behavioral questions to demonstrate my knowledge, problem-solving skills, and communication abilities. I also completed a short coding or task-based exercise related to the role. At the end of the interview, I had the opportunity to ask questions about the company and the position before the interviewer explained the next steps in the hiring process.
