It was a swift process in the beginning, however after all the interviews were done and seemed to be done on a pretty positive note, the only message was received after that the local management and global management were misaligned on how the team should operate, which caused them not to present the offer despite performing pretty well on the interviews, which was an embarrassing ending to the process which went pretty well initially.
